HOST matches college students who need short-term housing with hosts who provide a safe, private, affirming space in their home. • YMCA program for Community Service for Teens, Mikayla Escamilla will explain how this program works. • Report on the new developing relationship between CACs and the City of Raleigh. Please join us for the November Five Points CAC Zoom meeting on Monday evening, November 10th, 7-8pm. It will be a hybrid meeting at the Kiwanis Park Neighborhood Center and on Zoom (virtual). Join Stormwater staff for a stream cleanup at Southgate Park! We'll spend the morning removing trash from the stream and making the creek cleaner and litter-free. All the necessary supplies will be provided (work gloves, trash grabbers, safety vests, and trash bags). Please dress for outdoor fun and plan on getting a little wet and muddy. What You Need To Know Volunteers must be at least 10 years old; all volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We'll provide all supplies! Please just come with closed-toed shoes/boots and clothes that can get a little wet and muddy. Each volunteer must individually register. Registration for the stream cleanup is required. |

The RHDC referred the request to the Research Committee to gather additional information, which occurred at the October 1st committee meeting. During the committee report out at the October 8th RHDC meeting, it was requested that a letter to the alumni association be drafted to explain next steps and recommendations. . A draft letter will be attached by end of day Monday, November 17th. D. Adjournment
