Planning and Development staff will provide an overview of previous Council discussions of off- premise signage from 2023-2024, and provide options for potential Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) text amendments. B.2 Item 24-02: Hours of Operation - Commercial Trash Pickup The City Attorney's Office initiated contact with solid waste haulers to gather information regarding early morning collection practices and to assess the potential impacts of a proposed amendment to the noise ordinance. A feedback form was distributed, and the responses have been compiled into the attached chart. C. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY THE CHAIR ITEMS TO BE DISCUSSED B.1 Item 24-02: Hours of Operation - Commercial Trash Pickup At previous committee meetings the City Attorney’s Office has presented information on how other cities handle late night and early morning collection practices around commercial trash pickup, and presented a survey of the potential impact of time restrictions on commercial haulers. The committee will continue to consider and evaluate potential adjustments. . The staff presentation from the August 26 meeting of the committee is included with the agenda materials. B.2 Item 24-01: Commercial and Residential Use - Conflicts (3/18/25) & Intersection of Hospitality/Nightlife Areas and Residential (5/6/25) After a previous committee meeting, this item was discussed by the full City Council at its July 1 meeting.
