  • Community Engagement Attending the Adult Recess Festival

    Community Engagement will be attending Let's Get Social Raleigh's "Fourth Annual Adult Recess Festival." The Adult Recess Festival is a unique mental health and wellness festivals and people travel from across the country to experience it. As the first and only festival centered on adult play therapy and joy, it redefines play as essential to personal, civic, and communal care. Each year, public parks are transformed into adult-only playgrounds, reimagined as the backyard we once played in until the streetlights came on.

    Join the Community Engagement Department for Rolling Together 2026, our second annual mobile resource fair, on May 2! We'll be highlighting both city departments and community partners that use vehicles to provide resources in the community. Enjoy inflatables, face painting, snow cones, and plenty of family-friendly fun while learning about resources available to you. Bring the whole family and spend the day connecting with your community!
