  • Charity Blood Drive Hosted by the Raleigh Police Department

    The Raleigh Police Department is partnering with The Blood Connection to sponsor a blood drive on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. A $25 charitable donation will be made per donor. In addition, each donor will receive $25 in rewards. Learn more and register

    The City of Raleigh wants your help to reimagine one the Warehouse District’s historic alleys as a people-centered place. Stop by Commerce Place on your way to the Warehouse District, CAM, or other First Friday events for snacks, games, and the chance to share your thoughts on the new streetscape vision with City of Raleigh Staff.     The City of Raleigh’s Information Technology Department will host GIS Day activities at the Raleigh Union Station on Nov.7 from 8:30 a.m.-noon where you are invited to see demos of how GIS is used by our state and local governments and experience hands on learning with GIS technologies. Learn how GIS is used to solve problems in our everyday lives and how other advanced technologies aid in the evolution of GIS. Learn more about GIS Day GIS Day 2023 Map Contest This year’s GIS Day celebration at the City of Raleigh will include an original map competition.
