Where: North Carolina State University’s Talley Student Union, Room #4280, located at 2610 Cates Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27606. This year's celebratory event will be held on April 20, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. on the beautiful grounds of Raleigh's newest park - Latta University Historic Park.   Enjoy the evening visiting a mobile library of education tables featuring:  Oberlin Pioneers in Medicine hosted by WakeMed, radar scans of Oberlin Cemetery conducted by former NCSU doctoral student John Wall, Oberlin Veterans from various military campaigns, and other education displays. Dance the night away or relax on a blanket on the grassy knolls listening to the live performance of EPIC, whose playlist will include jazz and gospel. Stroll through the park and read the interpretive signage honoring Latta University. Learn about the landmark structures along Oberlin Road by partaking in a free Historic Trolley Tour of Oberlin offered throughout the evening by FOV volunteers.
