"Rubberside Down: A Celebration of Cycling, Creativity, and Community" "Rubberside Down: A Celebration of Cycling, Creativity, and Community" “Rubberside Down” is an in-gallery exhibit featuring local artists Leigh Ramsdell, Dave Green, Sarah Hammond, Zach Storm, and Minori Sanchiz-Fung. The exhibition will open with a free event on Saturday, October 5th, 2-6 p.m. The October 5 opening event will feature a pump track for riding built by Leigh Ramsdell & Dave Green, inflatables created by Katie Stewart, a one-day invitation-only bike show and group ride by Oaks and Spokes, Munjo Munjo as vendor, a walking open studio map, and an in-gallery month long exhibit showcasing artists alongside their work and bikes. Anything But Still Anything But Still aims to expand the traditional concept of' still life’ beyond the simplistic definition of an arrangement of objects. Each of the artists included has a unique approach to their work and demonstrates the vast possibilities of interpreting the documentation of objects within their photography practice.
