Public Art for All: Senior Voices & Universal Design

Help shape the future of accessible public art in Raleigh! Join Raleigh Arts and artist team Wowhaus for a special community engagement event designed with seniors and older adults in mind. Come share your experiences and ideas to help inspire new public art for the GoRaleigh/GoWake Access Transit Facility. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their experiences with transportation, accessibility, and community spaces while helping shape an artwork focused on universal design and inclusion. Your stories, perspectives, and creativity will play an important role in creating a welcoming public art experience that reflects the needs and voices of Raleigh’s senior community. NCMA Movie Night: Wicked: For Good

Moore Square, in partnership with the North Carolina Museum of Art, brings free outdoor movies to downtown Raleigh this spring and summer. Join us monthly for themed activities and programming, including food trucks beginning at 6 p.m., followed by an evening film under the stars at 7:15 pm.
