Hybrid Midtown CAC Meeting

Hope that everyone is having a good year. In addition to all of the recent holidays, February was a special month for Raleigh CACs with the recognition and support that was approved by Council on February 6. While details on the renewed relationship with the City are still being discussed, the recent Council action has brought back a critical community driven means of information exchange with residents and City administration. The challenge for 2024 will be to strengthen and expand the function and relationship of CACs to all neighborhoods in Raleigh, especially in those areas where CACs have ceased to function due to lack of City support for four years. A special thanks to City Council and all of the volunteers and supporters of CACs that made the return of CACs possible. One more important note: The Six Forks Road Improvement project will finally be presented to Council during their session on February 20. Please encourage the Council to get this project moving. Time is ticking away and development is not waiting!
