One Festival. Three Epic Films. One Journey to Middle-earth.

Join us for Hobbit Fest at Moore Square on Saturday, Sept. 19, for a day-long celebration of one of the greatest fantasy adventures ever told.

Experience the complete Lord of the Rings theatrical trilogy outdoors while exploring a festival filled with themed activities, local vendors, artists, food trucks, and more.

The movie marathon begins at 10 a.m., with the Hobbit Fest festival experience from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving guests plenty of opportunities to shop, eat, play, and celebrate Middle-earth.

Movie Marathon Schedule

  • 10 a.m.  – The Fellowship of the Ring
  • 1:30 p.m.  – The Two Towers
  • 5 p.m.  – The Return of the King

Whether you’re embarking on the journey for the first time or returning to Middle-earth for the hundredth, gather your fellowship and spend the day with us in downtown Raleigh.

Costumes are encouraged. Hobbits, elves, dwarves, wizards, rangers, and even the occasional orc are welcome!
