The City of Raleigh Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, September 8 at 9 a.m. at the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street in the City Council Chamber. Planning Commission meetings can be viewed on the city’s website and RTN 11.

This is a request to rezone approximately 2.93 acres at 2905 Hodge Road from Wake County Residential-30 (R-30) to Raleigh Residential-10 (R-10). The request would increase residential development potential and permit a broader range of housing types. Raleigh zoning would take effect only upon annexation into the city.

The Planning Commission reviewed this case at the August 11, 2026, meeting. They deferred it to the September 8, 2026, meeting to allow the applicant additional time for community outreach. The applicant did not submit a revised application.

The deadline for Planning Commission action is October 10, 2026.
