The Planning and Development Department invites you to come hear the findings from the Black Heritage and Historic Places Study: 1945-1975. The consultant, Mary Ruffin Hanbury, will present the survey findings that identify places important to Black history and heritage in Raleigh. The project includes a list of significant historic places (both existing and lost), with a special emphasis on:
