January 27 @ 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Dear Clean Connected Communities Network,

As we kick off 2025, we’re excited to bring you new opportunities to learn, connect, and take action for a cleaner, more connected future. Here’s what’s coming up and how you can get involved:

  1. Upcoming Webinar: Zoning Basics and Community Organizing

 When: Monday, January 27, 2025

 Time: 12:00 PM

Where: Online link – see below

Join us to learn how zoning decisions shape our communities and what we can do to influence them.

  • Zoning Primer: Anne Harvey, Chief Counsel for Environmental Justice at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, will explain zoning basics—what it is, how the process works, and how to get involved.
  • Community Organizing Insights: Denzel Burnside, founder of the NC Housing Table, will share actionable tips from his experience organizing for positive change.

Please feel free to share with friends and colleagues!

  1. Reflect and Plan: Share Your Wins and Goals

We want to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete our 2024 Reflection and 2025 Goals Survey.

  • Tell us about your accomplishments last year.
  • Share your plans for the year ahead.
  • Let us know how Clean Connected Communities can better support you.

  Complete the survey here: https://forms.gle/7YK9NfrZ5CphBrR79

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing a comprehensive list of the resources we created last year, including webinar recordings and our transportation advocacy guide.

Thank you for being part of our network. We’re excited to work with you to make 2025 a year of progress and impact.

Best regards,
Megan & Jenn
