The Planning Commission shall elect a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson in June each year. These officers shall serve a one-year term and will continue to serve until a successor has been selected by the Commission.

The Chairperson shall preside over all regular meetings of the Planning Commission. The Chairperson shall appoint the members of the regular subcommittees.
The Vice Chairperson shall serve as Chairperson at a meeting in the event of absence or abstention of the Chairperson. The Vice Chairperson shall serve as the Chairperson of the Committee of the Whole.

Chairperson Bennett’s service to the Planning Commission will conclude in March; the Commission needs to complete out of cycle elections to identify a new chairperson to serve through June, 2026.
