This year National Night Out will be observed on Aug. 6. In observance of National Night Out, Raleigh Police asks you to leave your porch light on from 7 to 10 p.m. The porch light symbolizes alertness and awareness; it makes your neighbors and friends feel welcome. RPD also asks you to get to know your neighbors better.
