Indigenous Women Making Traditional Culture Relevant

During this free panel, Small Island Big Song artists and Charly Lowry (Lumbee/Tuscarora) will share their experiences as performers and cultural ambassadors. They will discuss the roles women have traditionally played in their respective cultures and discuss different ways in which they have found support and risen above challenges to realize their potential as artists and leaders in their communities. Moderated by Small Island Big Song co-founder BaoBao Chen.
