Review and approval of the February 5, 2026 Design Review Commission meeting minutes.
WHEREAS City of Raleigh, property owner, requests the following design alternates: (1) to construct a driveway onto W Cabarrus Street located 63.7ft away from the intersection of W Cabarrus Street and S Dawson Street in lieu of the minimum 100ft spacing required per Raleigh Street Design Manual (RSDM) Section 9.5; (2) to construct a driveway onto W Lenoir Street located 51.5ft away from the intersection of W Lenoir Street and S Dawson Street in lieu of the minimum 150ft spacing required per RSDM Section 9.5; (3) to construct a 57.2ft wide driveway onto W Cabarrus Street in lieu of the maximum 40ft width required per RSDM Section 9.5; and (4) to provide 13.8% (58ft) build-to along S Dawson Street in lieu of the minimum 35% (147ft) build-to required per Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Sections 3.4.8.C and 1.5.6. All requests are in conjunction with the construction of a general building on the approximately 4-acreproperty zoned DX-20-UG located at 205 W Cabarrus Street. (ASR-0071-2025)
