The Wizard's Market appears for only one day in a cloaked location each year. After months of renovations, the Dr. M.T. Pope House will be open to the public again! The M.T. Pope House Museum invites you to learn about medicine in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries! This program will focus on the lives of Black medical practitioners and patients as they seek to heal and be healed despite glaring inequality. Join Stormwater staff for a stream cleanup at Southgate Park! We'll spend the morning removing trash from the stream and making the creek cleaner and litter-free. All the necessary supplies will be provided (work gloves, trash grabbers, safety vests, and trash bags). Please dress for outdoor fun and plan on getting a little wet and muddy. What You Need To Know Volunteers must be at least 10 years old; all volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We'll provide all supplies! Please just come with closed-toed shoes/boots and clothes that can get a little wet and muddy. Each volunteer must individually register. Registration for the stream cleanup is required.
