Stop by Marsh Creek Community Center on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to experience a unique and engaging mental health awareness event. Raleigh Parks in collaboration with the Jordan Porco Foundation would like to invite you to a one-of-a-kind Community Mental Health Check-In Program at Marsh Creek Community Center for Mental Health Awareness Month. The Check-In program was designed to be an uplifting mental health promotion program that creates an approachable atmosphere that fosters dialogue about mental well-being. Featuring Interactive Booths Music Community Resources Fitness Demos (pre-registration required) Pop Pilates® Barre-Fusion Pound Unplugged Barre And fun prizes! Goals Increase awareness of mental health resources and services available Reduce Stigma and misconceptions around mental health and suicide that often deter individuals from seeking help. Increase willingness to ask for help if experiencing emotional distress.
