This online info session will provide valuable insights into the city's contracting processes, procurement requirements, and opportunities available for business owners. There will be time for Q&A with City of Raleigh staff from the Business Engagement and Opportunities Program, Small Business Development, and Procurement. If you subscribe to this meeting series, you will receive the registration link and updates such as news and workshops. This commission meets the first Thursday of every month. Members discuss various stormwater needs and issues. Then, provides recommendations to staff and reports to Raleigh City Council. The Civic Assembly is a process for problem-solving, centered around group discussion from a representative body of the community. Participants of the Assembly were chosen by lottery and are a group reflective of Raleigh’s overall demographic. The Assembly works to offer perspectives of residents on topics and policies that will shape the Reflecting Raleigh: The Next Comprehensive Plan.
