Planning Commission Infrastructure and Mobility Committee

The Infrastructure and Mobility Committee is a subcommittee of the Planning Commission. This subcommittee can discuss issues related to transportation, transit, and infrastructure policies and improvements and connections related to land use or large transportation planning efforts. The committee typically meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 3 p.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB), located at 222 West Hargett Street in room 303.

Text Change TC-4-23: Digital Billboards The Committee of the Whole is an informal special meeting of the full Planning Commission to have further discussions on specific referral items. The Planning Commission bylaws state that rezoning requests that are deemed inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and future land use map are automatically referred to the Committee of the Whole. Additionally, requests for Planned Development or Campus District are also automatically referred to this Committee. The committee typically meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB), located at 222 West Hargett Street in Room 305.

Biltmore Hills Park Tennis Improvements Open House

Biltmore Hills Park 2615 Fitzgerald Drive, Raleigh, NC

Join us for a Public Meeting to discuss the Biltmore Hills Tennis Expansion Project. This meeting will be family-friendly and will include light refreshments and an art-making station for people of all ages. Childcare will be available for children five years to twelve years old.  Accommodations and Translation Services are available upon request - please contact BiltmoreHillsPark@publicinput.com This public workshop will be a drop-in style open house meeting.  Staff and consultants will be there to help explain and to answer questions about the draft concept plan and project schedule.  Staff from Raleigh Parks and Raleigh Stormwater will also be in attendance to answer questions about nearby projects. Home Movie Day

John Greene Park 401 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

Bring your home movies (8mm, Super8mm, 16mm motion picture film) or home videos (VHS) to the Top Greene Community Center between 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 25. Moving image archivists will be on hand to inspect what you bring, provide information on the format and any preservation issues, screen your film or video if you would like to show it, and make a digital copy of it for free!  You do not have to publicly screen your film or video to have it digitized. You do not have to have a film or video to bring to participate in and enjoy this event! Go up in the attic, dig through those dusty boxes, call grandma, discover your family’s hidden treasure trove of old home movies, and bring them to Home Movie Day! FREE consultations with A/V Geeks' expert staff will be available in 15-minute slots from 1 - 4 p.m. on a first come first serve basis. They will digitize up to 15 minutes of your footage free for you while you wait! Ages: All Cost: Free
