    The City of Raleigh is offering Advice About Your Device Drop-In Hours. Whether you have a simple question about how to work your device or have long-term digital goals, attend our drop-in hours to get assistance and learn more. Drop-in hours will be held February - May at three Raleigh locations. There is no registration required for this FREE resource.     Technical Teams are topic-based teams of subject-matter experts who meet to provide guidance and develop policy recommendations for the City’s Next Comprehensive Plan.   • Dix Park Leadership Committee

    The Dix Park Leadership Committee exists to provide guidance to City staff, Dix Park Conservancy, and other partners on the implementation of the Dix Park Master Plan. The Leadership Committee is supported by City staff and makes recommendations to the Raleigh City Council, which has final approval on the implementation of the Master Plan.     The Commission typically meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 9 a.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB), located at 222 West Hargett Street.     Hop out to Abbotts Creek and meet the Bunny! Participants will have the opportunity to play games and create crafts. After making your way through the crafts and games, stop for a picture with the bunny and pick up a plush egg from the egg patch.   • Hillsborough-Wade CAC Virtual meeting

    Our next Hillsborough-Wade CAC meeting will be on Tuesday, March 24 at 7:00 PM. Please save the date! We will meet on Zoom. Look for a future email with a link to the Zoom meeting. We will have a presentation by City staff from the Housing and Community Development Department about the affordable housing issues facing Raleigh, and the department’s ongoing programs and community needs. During the Q&A conversation following their presentation, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions about what Raleigh should be doing to solve our affordable housing crisis. The City plans to have an Affordable Housing Bond in this fall’s election. Your participation now may help guide what the bond will look like this fall. This is your opportunity for input!

  • Police Advisory Board Meeting

    The Police Advisory Board serves as a liaison between the Raleigh community and City Council.   • Planning Commission Committee of the Whole

    Raleigh Municipal Building 222 W. Hargett St., Raleigh, NC, United States

    The Committee of the Whole is an informal special meeting of the full Planning Commission, held to facilitate further discussions on specific referral items. The Planning Commission bylaws state that rezoning requests that are deemed inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and future land use map are automatically referred to the Committee of the Whole. Additionally, requests for Planned Development or Campus District are also automatically referred to this Committee. The committee typically meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB), located at 222 West Hargett Street, in the Council Chamber or in conference room 305.
