The Raleigh Police Department will be sponsoring free haircuts for the duration of the event. Free lunch boxes and water bottles will be available to students while supplies last. The Raleigh Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities will host the Raleigh Department of Transportation to hear important updates about the GoRaleigh Access program such as the return to fares and implementation of the Transit Assistance Pass for GoRaleigh Access. There will also be time for questions about the GoRaleigh Access Program. Where? Chavis Community Center, Second Floor, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. When? Meeting Accessibility There are two parking lots for the Chavis Community Center. The parking lot behind the building has more accessible parking spots via Chavis Way. Two ASL Interpreters will be present, and CART captions will be provided. Please email [email protected] to submit any other accommodations request by Monday, August 12. Transportation: Many of you joining this meeting are GoRaleigh Access customers. We are expecting a high volume of requests for this event.
