Provide Feedback on Changes to Noise and Amplified Entertainment Ordinances The deadline to submit feedback is Aug. 25 JUL 12, 2023 The City of Raleigh is providing engagement opportunities to collect feedback from the public regarding changes to the noise ordinance and a potential new nightclub permit. During the June 20 City Council Meeting, the City Attorney’s Office presented Council with proposed changes to the noise ordinance, repeal of the amplified entertainment permit ordinance, and enactment of the nightclub permit ordinance. While these changes are under review by Council, staff is asking for public input. Review the proposed ordinances and submit your feedback or questions online. A new exhibit, “African American Musicians of North Carolina,” is coming to the City of Raleigh Museum! Visitors can view the materials from August 4, 2023, through October 29, 2023. The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources created this traveling exhibit to help cultural heritage institutions statewide connect with local communities.

At the top of every hour, we will start with a parade! So, grab your favorite Teddy Bear, Dino, or toy, and join us to march to our Storytime adventures. Don’t forget, bring your used books for a donation to the book sale table! You can also purchase used books to take home.
