  • Parks Committee

    The committee is responsible for the study of issues related to park facilities, features, developments, and modifications. The committee prepares recommendations and proposals for the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board based on in-depth review and study of park-related issues and concerns. The Parks Committee a standing committee of the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board will meet in the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Conference Room 303 at 6:00 pm.

    Raleigh Parks’ Moore Square, in partnership with @Get2KnowRaleigh, welcomes back the First Friday Market & Movie Night series for the 2026 season. This free monthly event brings the community together for local vendors, food trucks, live music, and a featured outdoor movie in the heart of downtown Raleigh.     The City of Raleigh is offering Advice About Your Device Drop-In Hours. Whether you have a simple question about how to work your device or have long-term digital goals, attend our drop-in hours to get assistance and learn more. Drop-in hours will be held June - August at two Raleigh locations. There is no registration required for this FREE resource.
