Come Make Your Own Recycled Wreath

Digging Deeper: Stories in Local Archaeology

As Mordecai Historic Park investigates its own archaeological footprint, the park will host a series of lectures with local experts sharing about their projects at historic sites, cemeteries, and more. In November we welcome Melissa Timo, Staff Archaeologist and Historic Cemetery Specialist with the North Carolina Office of State Archaeology. She will speak on her work in historic cemeteries throughout the state and preservation efforts, challenges, and local resources. Registration is not required but is encouraged.
