Downtown Mobility Study Open House

Come help us improve active transportation and connectivity in downtown Raleigh! The Raleigh Department of Transportation (Mobility Strategy and Infrastructure) invite you to drop by Raleigh Union Station (510 W Martin Street, Raleigh) on May 29, 2024, between 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. to learn more about our new Downtown Raleigh Mobility Study. The Downtown Mobility Study is a City-led initiative to streamline multimodal planning and policy recommendations for the downtown area. The study will be community-driven and will consider the competing needs of stakeholders, advocates, and business owners downtown and will serve as an update to the 2019 Downtown Transportation Plan. Open House Meet with City staff and our community partners who will: Describe the planning process Gather input on community priorities Identify opportunities and challenges The event will feature workshop stations, a community mapping exercise, and a comments wall.  Light refreshments will be provided. This is a free, family-friendly event.

Saybrook Neighborhood Public Meeting

Raleigh Stormwater is hosting a public meeting to share information about the Saybrook Neighborhood Drainage Study and to hear your feedback. Stop by at your convenience to talk with stormwater staff! Meeting Details When: Wednesday, May 29 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Where: Abbots Creek Community Center (9950 Durant Road, Raleigh, NC 27614) About the Project The City is currently conducting a study to identify improvements that address flooding in the Saybrook at the Falls neighborhood. The study includes data collection and modeling of the drainage system. Results of the study will be presented at the public meeting on May 29. We will also gather your feedback on the recommendations.
