This two-mile stretch, between Lindsay Drive and the eastern edge of Umstead State Park on Ebenezer Church Road, forms a key part of our regional greenway network. During this series, we’ll visit different historic sites and museums in the Raleigh area for hands-on activities and to learn more about the past. Celebrate Take a Child Outside Week while learning about and enjoying Raleigh’s newest public park in Oberlin Village. In honor of Save a Life Day, Wake County Government, Raleigh Parks, and the NC Harm Reduction Coalition are sponsoring a free naloxone training event. This important session will teach participants how to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses using naloxone, a medication that can save lives.
