GoRaleigh Access Paratransit Public Meeting on Monday, August 19! The Raleigh Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities will host the Raleigh Department of Transportation to hear important updates about the GoRaleigh Access program such as the return to fares and implementation of the Transit Assistance Pass for GoRaleigh Access. There will also be time for questions about the GoRaleigh Access Program. Where? Chavis Community Center, Second Floor, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. When? Monday, August 19; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Registration is not required for this meeting, but please consider submitting any questions you have about the GoRaleigh Access Program in advance.
The East CAC will meet on Monday, August 19, at 7 p.m. at Lions Park Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is an organizational meeting and to elect officers to serve a term of 1-year as leaders of ECAC. Open positions include Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. If you are interested in serving in a leadership role, please email Mark Turner and Lynette Pitt at candidatecommittee@eastraleigh.org. We will also take nominations from the floor. Please join us to reinvigorate our area’s Citizen Advisory Council.
