RALEIGH NEIGHBORS UNITED received the following from MorningStar Law Group: "...given the significant attendance that we now are expecting for our neighborhood meeting next week, we are rescheduling the meeting planned for April 2nd to a much larger venue. Simply put, the room available at the Pullen Community Center is insufficient for the size of the group that we are expecting based upon what we have seen on social media. We do not believe it would be fair to folks interested in the case to continue with the meeting under the circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience and would ask that you please let as many of your folks know about this as you can. We will be mailing out postcards letting the community know of the cancellation and also will be sending a mailed meeting notice once we have a new time/date/venue for the meeting." Stay tuned... MorningStar has now confirmed the meeting will be rescheduled to 4/23 at the NCSU McKimmon Center Apr. 02 5:30 p.m. Pullen Park Community Center CC Classroom, 408 Ashe Ave, Raleigh, NC 27606 W Peace St Assemblage Pre-Submittal IX-12 TO DX-30-UG (Additional Information) D Jason Barron FROM RALEIGH NEIGHBORS UNITED ACTION: PACK THE […]

The East Lane Street drainage improvement project will comprise replacing the current stormwater pipe that runs through properties to the north of E. Lane Street. Parts of the current pipe are in bad condition and undersized, causing flooding and sinkholes. The new pipe will either follow roughly the current path, but along the rear of the properties on the north side of the 500 block of Lane Street, or it will run under Lane Street itself, or possibly partly under Lane Street and partly along its current path. More details are forthcoming, but there will be a public meeting to share and gather information on this project. It will take place on April 24 from 5:00 to 6:30 at the Tarboro Road Community Center at 121 N. Tarboro Road. All are invited.
