Urban Farm Open House

Marsh Creek Community Center is excited to invite community members who want to see and experience our new Urban Farm! Operated and supported in partnership with Raleigh City Farm, our Urban Farm was created in 2025 as a way to grow and distribute fresh produce to members of the Raleigh community. Take a tour, enjoy some fresh produce, chat with the farmers, learn about volunteer opportunities, and meet your neighbors at this drop-in opportunity to see all things going on with our Urban Farm! The welcoming ceremony to officially establish our partnership will be held at 6 p.m. Check in at the lobby of Marsh Creek Community Center when you arrive to start your tour experience. Provide Your Input on the City's Affordable Housing and Community Development Needs for 2026-2027 Each year, the City of Raleigh receives funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds are used for affordable housing initiatives. Initiatives include creating affordable rental and homeownership housing, helping those experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, providing public services to persons with low- and moderate-incomes, and supporting community development needs. The City of Raleigh is projected to get $4.5 million in federal funding next year. We need your input on how to use it! The FY2026-2027 Action Plan Draft is ready to review and available for public comment through April 15.
