These funds are used for affordable housing initiatives. Initiatives include creating affordable rental and homeownership housing\, helping those experiencing or at-risk of homelessness\, providing public services to persons with low- and moderate-incomes\, and supporting community development needs. \nThe City of Raleigh is projected to get $4.5 million in federal funding next year.
