Hargett St., RaleighDuring the March 18 meeting, City Council established a temporary Special Committee to carry out a review of the structure, bylaws, budgets and other matters related to the function and operation of the City's advisory boards and commissions. During the initial meeting of the committee, staff will provide a brief review of the current landscape of the City's advisory boards and commissions and solicit input from the Special Committee regarding its desired scope for the review, preferred review timeline and meeting cadence, and other organizational matters pertinent to the work of the committee.
