Join your friends at Kiwanis and Active Adults for a family-friendly Halloween celebration! This event is aimed at children and their grandparents, as well as those who are cherished like grandparents. Get ready to experience the holiday spirit in a safe, creative, and inclusive way! We will have several stations throughout the park, including a DIY Candy bucket station, a candy hunt, and a special snack creation. We will also have a sensory-friendly festive film screening. In alignment with the community-led initiatives that created the 2014 Master Plan Design for Walnut Creek Wetland Park, it is the City’s goal to create a garden space designed to provide access to fresh produce and help raise awareness about food deserts, develop food and garden-related programming, and create a model for food production and distribution.
