The City is beginning the conversation on neighborhood Traffic Calming with three streets in District D (Fairway Dr, Deboy St, and Brooks Ave).  Will is reaching out to these three streets associated with their projects. He will outline plans for placing speed humps on sections of the three streets to reduce vehicle speeds and talk about traffic calming done by the City. The white speed humps that have been marked on the pavement in each area are staff starting the conversation with the neighborhood.  They looked at traffic calming best practices and laid out a design they felt would be very effective at slowing down drivers.  They want to hear from the neighborhood because we are the ones that see traffic and see its use patterns on a daily basis.
