Are you a construction, contracting or services business that wants to work on government projects? Join us for a virtual info session and learn how to apply for certification as:
- Historically Underutilized Business with the North Carolina Department of Administration (HUB/NCDOA) AND/OR
- Disadvantaged Business Enterprise with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (DBE/NCDOT).
Benefits include greater access to government contracts and business opportunities, exclusive listing on our online directory of HUB/DBE certified businesses, and opportunities for business development and professional growth.
To be eligible, your business must owned and controlled by 51 percent or more of the following minority groups:
- Black Americans;
- Hispanic Americans;
- Pacific-Asian Americans;
- American Indians;
- Females;
- Disabled – A person with disability as defined in G.S. 168-1 or G.S. 168A-3; or,
- Disadvantaged – A person who is socially and economically disadvantaged as defined in 15 U.S.C. § 637.
