Public Meeting – September 23, 2025
The City of Raleigh Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, September 23 at 9 a.m. at the Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street in the City Council Chamber. Planning Commission meetings can be viewed on the city’s websiteand RTN 11.

D.1 TC-3-24 Historic Preservation and RHDC
Historic Preservation and RHDC (TC-3-24): Amendments to State Law and a staff review of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) identified issues in the code that warrant further review and correction. To ensure continuous improvement of the city’s land development regulations and align with State Law, the language of the historic preservation related sections of the UDO were updated.

Recommended Action: The Planning Commission may discuss this item and make a recommendation. Alternatively, the request can be held or referred to the Text Change Committee for further review at their 10/15/25 meeting.
