Hillsborough-Wade CAC in-person meeting

Hi Hillsborough-Wade CAC friends,

I’m excited to tell you about the updated agenda for our Hillsborough-Wade CAC meeting this Thursday, March 30^th at 7:00 PM *. We will have our District D Councilor Jane Harrison and our District E Councilor Christina Jones join us at the start of our meeting! We can thank them for making this in-person meeting at a Raleigh park facility possible.

We’ll be at the Jaycee Community Center on Wade Avenue (our usual meeting place).

This is our first in-person Hillsborough-Wade CAC meeting since before the pandemic. on. To celebrate being together, we’re making our meeting a social event with snacks and drinks, plus programing at the beginning.

Jeff Murison, the President of the Hillsborough Street Community Corporation, will be bringing appetizers from the Jasmin restaurant. I will bring cheese, salami & crackers. If you would like to bring some snacks or drinks, please email me at [email protected].

Here’s the program before our socializing begins: Comments by Councilors Harrison and Jones with Q&A, update on Jeff Murison’s HSCC organization and the Blue Ridge sister organization, presentation by Raleigh’s Community Engagement Office on progress over the past year, and we’ll ask attendees if they have a topic they want to briefly discuss.
