Let’s Discuss Rezoning for the New Bern Avenue Transit Overlay District 

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stations are planned along New Bern Avenue. Zoning changes are proposed to add the Transit Overlay District (TOD) to the zoning map along the future New Bern Avenue Bus Rapid Transit route. The TOD requires walkable development in core areas around transit routes and incentivizes the inclusion of affordable housing units in new buildings.
