Mordecai National Night Out (rescheduled from 8/6 due to weather)

Come join your neighbors at the Halifax Community Center for this year’s National Night Out on Wednesday, August 21 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm!
This year’s event is co-sponsored by the Mordecai CAC and the Halifax Community Center.
- Visit with community leaders, police officers, and fire fighters
- Cool off with ice cream from Howling Cow
- Play on the Halifax Community Center playground
- Create sidewalk chalk art
- Get active with jump ropes and hula hoops
- Spend time visiting with your neighbors
- Learn to play Pétanque!
- Climb inside in a fire truck!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live and work. For more information about National Night Out, visit natw.org
The Mordecai Community Action Coalition serves several downtown neighborhoods, including Mordecai, Oakdale, Pilot Mill, East Mordecai, Capital Park, Person Street, Seaboard, and part of Historic Oakwood.
