DDNA (District D Neighborhood Alliance) Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for May 20th at 9:30 AM at the Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center and our District D City Councilor Jane Harrison plans to be in attendance. We will have no guest speaker this month and instead will have an in-person-only work session. We will bring the Zoom meeting option back at our next meeting. Look forward to seeing you! If you are unable to attend our next meeting is tentatively planned for June 17th at 9:30 AM.

This May, Black and Unknown Bards present an outdoor, immersive performance of Marita Bonner's award-winning one-act play, The Purple Flower. Written in 1928, The Purple Flower is a surrealistic allegory for the decades after the end of slavery in America and a prediction for what would come to pass. Reserve tickets for The Purple Flower The Purple Flower is presented as part of SEEK Raleigh, an experimental public arts program of Raleigh Arts. Building Safety Month – Moore Square Market
