If your business is not certified, please join the City of Raleigh's MWBE Program, NC DOA/HUB Office, and the NC DOT/DBE Office to learn the requirements and process to apply for certification. Benefits of Certification as HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) & DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise): Increased exposure to business and procurement opportunities Addition of your business to the online directory Receive bid notices from all government organizations Provides opportunities for business development And, more… Who should apply? Public Meetings on Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Years 2026-2030

The City is currently drafting the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan, which will guide how the City uses federal and local funds to address homelessness, serve low- and moderate-income communities, and create affordable housing over the next five years. The 5-year Plan includes:  Goals and Objectives Building affordable apartments for low-income residents Grants to help the homeless and vulnerable populations Locating affordable housing near transit Workforce Training Programs Geographic priority areas within the City Updates to Citizen Participation Plan The City will be holding six public meetings throughout Raleigh in the fall to discuss this 5-year Plan.
