Five Points Virtual CAC Meeting

Please join us to hear about Five Points news, city policies and programs affecting the Five Points community, and more! We'll be discussing the rezoning at the intersection of Bickett Blvd and Fairview Road, the signal and other changes at the Five Points intersection, and other news around Five Points. We'll also discuss topics that would be of interest for our 2024 meetings. Officer Kevin Taylor will give us a police report. And City Council Member Christina Jones will share news about City Council recent decisions and deliberations and issues that they are working. Our meetings are open to the public! Southwest Raleigh Community Engagement Meeting (including DDNA)

Next Meeting - November 13th at 7PM   Join us Monday night, November 13th at 7PM for our regularly scheduled Southwest Raleigh Community Engagement Meeting we will be meeting on Zoom. Greetings to Friends and Neighbors City of Raleigh Inspections Report - Inspector Doug Lilly. City of Raleigh Monthly Report and Update – Captain Rowland (SW). Captain LaTour (SE). Our District has two new District Commanders. Hopefully, they can join us. Our November meeting (with DDNA invited) will Concentrate on Municipal Service Districts - Municipal Service Districts (MSD) currently exist in Downtown Raleigh and the Hillsborough Street area. Their purpose is to support business activity and community in an area. The Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance will be making a presentation for our meeting regarding their request of Raleigh City Council to consider creating a Municipal Service District for the West Raleigh Community. A similar conversation has been made that will pertain to the South Saunders/ Lake Wheeler Road area.
