Our District has two new District Commanders. Hopefully, they can join us. Our November meeting (with DDNA invited) will Concentrate on Municipal Service Districts - Municipal Service Districts (MSD) currently exist in Downtown Raleigh and the Hillsborough Street area. Their purpose is to support business activity and community in an area. The Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance will be making a presentation for our meeting regarding their request of Raleigh City Council to consider creating a Municipal Service District for the West Raleigh Community. A similar conversation has been made that will pertain to the South Saunders/ Lake Wheeler Road area.
