Sidewalk Sessions with Raleigh Transportation at Barwell Road Community Center

Barwell Road Community Center 5857 Barwell Park Dr, Raleigh

Raleigh Transportation is hitting the streets with a new community engagement series called Sidewalk Sessions. This campaign brings our team directly into the community—outside of traditional public meetings—by partnering with local businesses and community spaces across the city. Join us on Tuesday, July 8 at the Barwell Road Community Center from 4 - 6 p.m. Stop by to meet Raleigh Transportation's Mobility Strategy & Infrastructure team, ask questions, share your ideas, and learn more about the Active Mobility Plan (AMP)—an update to the City's bike and pedestrian plans that will shape the future of walking, biking, and rolling across Raleigh. Key focus areas of the AMP include: citywide network recommendations policy and program opportunities, and strategies to prioritize safe, comfortable mobility options for all. Stop by anytime! It’s a casual, convenient way to connect and help shape the future of transportation in Raleigh. No speeches, no presentations—just real conversations about your neighborhood. Learn more about the Active Mobility Plan and take the survey!
