By giving life to otherwise inanimate materials, she invites viewers to reflect upon the repercussions our actions cause on our planet. A native of Uruguay, a great part of her work reflects on being an immigrant and being a woman. Patrizia received a BA in textile design from the Institute of Industrial Design in Uruguay and an MS in textile design for prints from Philadelphia University.
