Oak City Biz Labs Information Session for Small Business Owners

Small Business Owners: You May Be Eligible for up to $30,000 and Technical Assistance Training! Last year, the City of Raleigh and Carolina Small Business Fund launched the Oak City Biz Labs program. This program is designed to help small businesses with storefronts in Raleigh that are still financially recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic by providing aid of up to $30,000, tied to technical assistance programs that help foster strategic and resilient business growth. Applications for the second round will be open from February 27th until March 12th.  Applicants that were awarded funds for the first round of relief through the Oak City Biz Labs program are not eligible to apply. The applicants that received aid through the separate Raleigh Relief Fund created at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply. Interested in applying? NC Counts Coalition Emergency Meeting on HB99

Hi Friends URGENT, URGENT URGENT!!! It has just come to our attention that HB99 has been filled. Filed by Representative Paré. HB99 — turns Wake County Board of Commissioners races into nonpartisan, single-member districts (currently it’s a partisan, residency/at-large system). We are hosting a special listening session next week to discuss the impact of the voting change and gather initial first impressions on HB99.
