Good afternoon, friends, You may have seen in the news on WRAL that the city of Raleigh's Go-Raleigh Access (ADA paratransportation for persons with disabilities) has implemented a new software program which has fundamentally changed the nature of this service in our city. On August 15, 2023, many persons who use this service appeared before city council during public comment to voice their views, concerns and frustration. While council expressed concerns and had questions of transit staff, we feel it necessary to hold another meeting to continue to impress upon city council the urgency of this matter. Therefore, I do request that you come to this meeting to lend your support in this effort.
