Here’s what we have so far… Make your first stop 2502 Mayview Road for: maps, information, kids’ fun zone of garden arts and crafts, kids’ Explorer info., University Park Village Raleigh info., to drop off donations of school supplies and food. At this “Village Kids’ Zone and Info. Center” kids will have lots of fun and grown-ups can learn about University Park Village Raleigh, our new initiative to support aging in place. And stay past 3pm for the art sale/auction — viewing and sales start at 2:15p with final sales at 3:45p at Raleigh Little Theatre (Gaddy Theatre). Bring the kids –grown-ups browse the art while kids play bingo at 3p. More than 20 host sites throughout University Park have already signed up for what is shaping up to be a rich and exciting experience, full of fun and surprises for all, including many activities for kids and kids of all ages. We are looking for volunteers to help on the day of the event.
