Planning Commission Text Change Committee

The Text Change Committee is a subcommittee where changes to the zoning code, known as the Unified Development Ordinance, are discussed. This subcommittee reviews the language of any potential code change. Reflecting Raleigh Technical Team – Land Use

Technical Teams are topic-based teams of subject-matter experts who meet to provide guidance and develop policy recommendations for the City’s Next Comprehensive Plan. Five teams will be organized by key topics included in the next plan: Land Use Transportation Housing and Neighborhoods Natural Resources Infrastructure and Services Each Technical Team will include: City staff Representatives from City boards and commissions Technical experts from the Raleigh community

Little Rock Creek Walk

Join Walnut Creek Wetland Park staff for a creek walk! We will take a guided walk through Little Rock Creek, one of Raleigh's many small, precious, and highly impacted streams. We will identify ecological concerns, learn some new ways of seeing our creeks, and get up close and personal with the water that winds its way through our lives. Registration is required. State of the City Address

City of Raleigh Museum 220 Fayetteville St, Raleigh

Mayor Janet Cowell will present her annual State of the City address on Wednesday, March 18. Time: 6 p.m. (doors will open at 5:30 p.m.) Location: City of Raleigh Museum, 220 Fayetteville Street, in Downtown Raleigh There will be a live broadcast of the State of the City address on RTN11 (cable channel 11). It will also be livestreamed, with on-demand viewing after the event on the City's YouTube channel.
