Voice Your Ideas for a More Accessible Raleigh

2550 Operations Way 2550 Operations Way, Raleigh

Raleigh is continuing its commitment to making our city more accessible for everyone—and we’d love for you to be part of that conversation. Save the date for Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Operations Way Facility (2550 Operations Way). We’re hosting a public meeting on the City’s ADA Transition Plan for the public right of way. The presentation kicks off at 10 a.m., and Raleigh Transportation staff—and our consultant team—will be there to answer questions, share updates, and listen to your feedback. And yes, we’ll have snacks! This meeting isn’t just for members of the ADA community—everyone is welcome! If you walk, roll, ride, or drive in Raleigh, accessibility affects you. You’ll learn how the ADA Transition Plan guides improvements to sidewalks, crossings, and programs so everyone can get around safely and comfortably. ASL interpreters and assistive listening devices will be onsite. Any additional accessibility support needed? Please email us at: ADA@raleighnc.gov. Can't make the meeting? You can take our online survey and let you voice be heard! Learn more and visit our ADA Transition Plan page.
