The Raleigh Fire Department will be hosting a Fire Prevention Week display at Home Depot on Capital Boulevard. This year’s theme is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.” Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how to keep their homes safe from lithium-ion battery fires by: Choosing the right equipment Charging devices properly Safely recycling lithium-ion batteries Stop by our display to pick up fire safety resources, ask questions, and discover practical steps you can take to protect your family and home.
